We will be migrating your Lookout data from the United States to Sydney.
The migration will happen in the early hours of the morning and during that window Lookout will appear as "Down for maintenance", including Lookout admin, Lookout client app and Lookout support worker app. There will be no changes to records, logins, or integrations. Everything as it was before the migration will be how it is after the migration.
The migration has three big advantages:
- Your Lookout data will be hosted locally in Australia. - You and everyone using Lookout will experience a small increase in speed when using Lookout because of the reduced latency. - Your Lookout data will be more secure behind an additional layer of protection on an isolated network.
We've been carefully planning and testing the migration for the past two months. We've already migrated supporting components without downtime.
The migration will happen between 4 and 6 am Sydney time on Wednesday morning the 22nd of September. We picked this window because it will have the smallest impact on your clients and workers.
